Police Officer:
And this stuff had been back there the entire time.
Suspect:
Yeah, because I didn't have enough...
Police Officer:
Eggs and chicken.
Suspect:
Yeah I didn't have any time to get the groceries out.
Suspect:
I had to go out.
Police Officer:
That's not safe to eat anymore.
Suspect:
Yes, it is.
Police Officer:
Can I see your insurance.
Police Officer:
Just. Just put -
Suspect:
My phone
Police Officer:
Okay. Just go ahead and step on out for me. Just. Just set your phone down. You can leave all that stuff there on the seat.
Suspect:
All right.
Police Officer:
Take the hat off for me. Set it on the seat please. Thank you. Just step on back here. Just set the hat down. I don't want you to lose it. That's. That's the only reason.
Suspect:
No, that's fine.
Police Officer:
Thank you. I also see there's a couple open containers of alcohol on the back seat. It looks like wine. And...
Suspect:
Yes
Police Officer:
vodka
Suspect:
I'm bringing that from groceries to my house.
Suspect:
To his house.
Police Officer:
So when you got that This morning.
Suspect:
I got that at like 7:00 this evening. And then I went and met my friends downtown Dallas. And then he started trying to tell me the address. And when I saw your lights and everything, we got ready to try to get over to the shoulder. I was like, This is not a safe place to get. So I was trying to exit. Yeah.
Police Officer:
So he told me he only had one one drink bottle.
Suspect:
Yes, I had vodka and pineapple juice.
Police Officer:
How much was. How much was it?
Suspect:
ummm it was like uhh maybe a half a glass about this tall.
Police Officer:
And how much vodka was in it?
Suspect:
That much. It was weak.
Police Officer:
Umm so who, who drank the rest of the vodka?
Suspect:
That vodka and that wine came from my house.
Police Officer:
You told me you just bought at the grocery store at seven.
Suspect:
I bought, no all the groceries I bought from the grocery store. The wine and the alcohol are strictly brought from my house to take to his house and he just literally moved there like three days ago. So I'm like, Where am I going? He's trying to tell me. Exit 408. Exit 403. I'm like, Where in the hell? And I graduated from Cedar Hill. I graduated from UT, and I'm like, I don't know where you are.
Police Officer:
You don't know this area.
Police Officer:
All right.
Suspect:
Jesus Christ.
Police Officer:
Well, just wait over here for me where my light is.
